Why Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is more Important than ever to the success and growth of Your Business
Learn some of the reasons your business should invest more money into Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Search Share and Searcher Behavior
Most Internet searchers skip the paid Internet advertisements and look at the #1 natural/organic listing. This is proven by many scientific eyetracking maps of where "searchers" eyes focus on when using a search engine or look at website content.
On average, 82 percent of people searching skip the paid ads and look at the #1 natural listing.
So why do businesses spend a much higher dollar amount on paid search and not on organic SEO efforts?
Organic Search Traffic
SEO traffic has no cost per click and can provide a better ROI – higher than other marketing methods.

There are 7000 languages around the world, How language shapes the way we think
We are losing languages around the world at the rate of one lost language a week. The lady in the video believes this is a bad thing and I do not understand why. It makes sense to me that there should be less languages needed and used over time as technology continues to make the world a smaller place.
Then I wonder if we will have less countries over time, however I think this question is very different then how many languages we need. Because people need and want to communicate, however for political and economic reasons there is less motivation to have fewer countries in the world. Also I think the Netherlands is a good example of the future, where people may speak a native more obscure language (Dutch) and also speak English as their international language of choice. I have seen people from different countries that all have different native languages e.g. Spanish, Chinese, Russian, etc. all communicate just fine using English.
Mandarin is the most widely spoken language in the world, because China has the most people. Over a billion people speak Mandarin, yet only 1% of Chinese people speak English.
Spanish is the second most widely spoken language on earth.
Only 13% of the people in the world are fluent at 3 languages and the term for this is trilingual. However if you can speak 5 or more languages fluently you are not only most likely a genius you are known as a Polyglot. Only 1% of the world's population is fluent and can communicate in 5 languages, I have only ever met one person who could do this and he was definitely a genius. He was a medical professor that made a lot of money investing in the stock market and he lived in Monaco. He was also famous for his medical inventions.

Why Link Building is the Most Important SEO Ranking Factor, and Why You Still Want and Need to Perform Great On-Site Optimization
Rand Fishkin is a very smart person and one of the top SEO experts in the world.
Please understand that good merit based link building is by far the #1 ranking factor in SEO.
You can separate SEO into two main categories.
1. On-site SEO - e.g. what you do on your web pages. There is a finite (limited) number of ranking points that you can obtain for good on-site optimization.
2. Off-site SEO - e.g. Link Building, who links to your web pages. There is an infinite (unlimited) number of ranking points that you can obtain from great link building. So a site with superior link building can and will outrank a perfectly on-site optimized website.
This is a good thing and there is science behind this and also why Google created the term and concept of PageRank. This is why Google grew so fast and why their search results are superior to their competitors.
If you do a fantastic job of on-site optimization you will also need less high quality backlinks. It also will help you if you have wonderful SEO Tools to use for both on-site optimization and for off-site optimization.

Common SEO mistakes and why you should create separate product web pages
The following video offers good SEO advice and covers some of the most common mistakes I see business people make when trying to perform SEO on their websites.
There are more reasons than this video describes to follow the proper SEO strategies to help improve your search engine rankings.
There are many factors to good SEO, it can be complex and confusing trying to decide which advice to follow. It is similar to choosing an attorney to help you. E.g. you may receive multiple opinions from different experts.
Which expert is correct?
You should create a separate web page for each of your different products. If you have 10+ products or services listed on your home page and do not create separate product pages you are making a big SEO mistake. The "title tag" of each page is important and putting way too many keywords in your "title tag" is a huge mistake. You also need link building for all your internal web pages.
Please phone me for more details.
This concept of creating multiple web pages and complete websites is useful for many types of businesses. Also this applies to different city names, e.g. "flower delivery New York", "plumber Los Angeles", etc.
