This video interview of Tony Fadell, Nest CEO by Emily Chang is one of the best. Tony has a fascinating background, including working closely with Steve Jobs of Apple. Tony Fadell projects a positive and wholesome energy as he tells some great stories about working with Steve Jobs.
Listening to Tony I realize we had a similar upbringing, e.g. we are both from the Midwest, we both moved around a lot, and I agree 100% about what Tony says about the benefits of moving around a lot. Plus it teaches you how to stand up to bullies. We both were obsessed with science, technology, computers, software, etc.

French Taxi Drivers Protest Uber for Days and Want Uber Banned From Paris
This is a very interesting topic to me. What does it mean to real people trying to make a living, as technology forces changes on their traditional way of life?
Also because I am amazed at how big and fast this entire Uber business has grown.
I was in a Taxi in Amsterdam and the driver told me in the Netherlands taxi drivers work for both a taxi company and also for Uber.
Then he asked me why I did not invent Uber?
I replied "good question".

Owners.com, MLSaccess.com and ForSaleByOwner.com, Should be Forced by the FTC to Stop their Deceptive MLS Advertising and Promotions
I am unhappy about how these Real Estate related companies are very deceptive, and misleading about their MLS services.
First I wrote an article about trying to sell my house on Zillow where I mention these MLS services. Now I am 100% certain that the public needs to be warned about these scams.
I have to try to get a $395 refund from Owners.com as they have taken over a week just to tell me the truth.
I took a screen shot from the Owners.com site today which verifies how deceptive they are in order to trick you into signing up with them for this bogus MLS scam they offer.
Please click on the screen shot below to make it larger.

You cannot be in the MLS unless you sign a real estate agreement and pay a 2-3% commission.

the Truth About SEO and Link Building Services, Useful Information About SEO Companies
It is always a dangerous and sensitive subject for any SEO expert to talk about this topic, especially when you know 100% for sure Google is reading every single word you write. I do not recommend other SEO experts do what I do, because I am a very brave fearless sort of person. I grow up close to a higher crime area of South Chicago and had to learn to fight and stand up to bullies or I may have been killed.
The following is a good and truthful video about SEO and link building. However I want to be clear I do NOT recommend this company, I only recommend you hire my company.
Just because a SEO company has a good video does not mean they are capable of doing what the video claims.

Yahoo Has Smart People Trying to Win Back Search Marketshare
gototom2.blogspot.com/2015/12/yahoo-is-trying-to-become-1-search.html
This is an ongoing problem with having some of these videos working properly.
I do not think they will work going forward in the future and I am just going to go shopping for my girl friend and not worry about this Blogger technician problem.
My girl friend Mary wants to go shopping with me for Chloe handbags, and I just prefer to shop on the Internet from this company in Italy that sells all the top designer brands. I do not buy designer brands for myself only others. I am like Steve Jobs was in that regard. I would rather buy a web site than furniture for my house. So that seen in new Steve Jobs movie really makes me laugh.

Larger Companies are Generally Better SEO Clients to Acquire
I found this interesting comment on a SEO article and I think it is true. Larger clients are generally lower in the amount of hassles and being difficult to work with.
Plus they pay a SEO company a lot more money.
Plus they pay a SEO company a lot more money.
I've honestly found that larger companies (for some odd reason)
are generally easier targets to get SEO contracts set up vs smaller / lower
paying businesses. I don't know why this is. I've been approached by multiple
companies wanting to set up contracts in the high 5 figure per month range, and
they're usually very easy and hassle free clients. In contrast the smaller
lower paying contracts tend to be the hardest to acquire, and are usually very
demanding and hard to deal with. The larger companies generally don't ask a
whole lot of questions, and in most cases I was the only one they interviewed
for the job......while the smaller companies can go through 5-10 different seos
before deciding on one.
I generally don't do client work
anymore, too busy....however this was the case a few years ago and it looks
like it hasn't changed.
You'd think
the larger companies have more resources to screen better seos, but I've found
the opposite to be true.
