Google does not support freedom of speech. Google censors more web content than communist China does.
Google is a Publisher, and has a monopoly on Internet search.
People that believe Google is not politically biased against Republicans and Conservatives are WRONG.
For example if I search some text from the erroneous article that claims Google is not biased, it comes up #1 on Google.
If I search some unique text from my article, it is buried on Google far below the bonehead article.
The screenshot shows how Google is unfairly censoring this article and is politically bias.
Google tries to fix the evidence when I bust them, so that is why I show the search results screenshot.
You can see how Google manually changed the search results after they read this article.
Google knows that they can gaslight many people, yet it is easy for me to bust evil Google. E.g., when you search on 20+ words on Google and the results show with all the words missing. That makes Google's nefarious manipulations clear and obvious.

I am disappointed with the Republican party for not passing this new law when they controlled the USA Senate and Congress. Why do socialist Democrats think that people cannot decide for themselves what is "misinformation"?
I do not want the Government and/or Google deciding what I should be able to read or watch. Google has a monopoly on Internet search and must be stopped from discriminating against authors and content that Google does not like.
The Google human editors that constantly read my content and decide to unfairly censor me, conservative news websites, and Republican politicians are bias, incompetent, lamebrains that I would not even hire to work for my company as a free intern.
USA States can also enact laws to regulate Big Tech, however Google, etc. are fighting some new state laws in court. Specifically, states could simply impose non-discrimination requirements
on social media and search engines. Non-discrimination is one of the oldest obligations of
common carriers and requires them to accept all customers.
Currently, airplanes and telephones still operate under this
requirement. In the era of competitive telephony, local telephone
companies had to interconnect with all long-distance companies.
However, a new Federal law would be the best option.
Senator Hagerty stated:
For too long Americans have watched Big Tech trample on the
principles of the First Amendment.
Free speech, freedom of thought and belief, free assembly and the open exchange of ideas. As more information is filtered through online platforms, freedom of speech online is being terminated by Google, Bing, Facebook and Twitter.
Senator Hagerty introduced the 21st Century Foundation for the Right to Express and Engage in Speech Act (or the 21st Century FREE Speech Act), which would restore the Bill of Rights, rather than the secret political agenda of Google, Facebook and Twitter, as the guide for what Americans can read or write in today’s public square.
The modern public square is dominated by search engines and platforms facing no meaningful competition.
Instead of
being accountable to consumers or voters, the companies that dominate
communication today use opaque, secret inconsistent practices to control the
information Americans get to see and discuss. As Justice
Clarence Thomas
noted in a recent Supreme Court opinion, common carriers - such as
trains or phone networks, which are essential to everyday goings-on,
connecting people and information have historically been subject “to
special regulations, including a general requirement to serve all
comers” without discrimination. The same logic should apply today to Big
Tech.
While the bill allows for limited content moderation to maintain
family-friendly environments, its regulation of tech companies as common
carriers means that all Americans will be able to access them on
reasonable, non-discriminatory terms. No more Google unfairly censoring articles like this, and deleting videos and comments from YouTube.
The tech platforms will also have to disclose their content moderation techniques to users, meaning that platforms will not be able to create discriminatory technology without users knowing. Users will also have a private right of action against tech companies, allowing them to sue any company that violates these principles.
USA Senator Hagerty’s legislation aims to:
1. Abolish Section 230 in favor of narrower liability protection that reflects its original purpose and that cannot be used as a license for politically-biased censorship.
2. Update common-carrier laws in light of Big Tech’s role as today’s dominant communications platforms to ensure that Americans have reasonable, non-discriminatory access to the largest tech platforms.
3. Require Big Tech to disclose its content moderation practices to users, so that American consumers understand and control the information they receive.
4. Prohibit political censorship by Big Tech corporations.
It is still possible to pass these new laws, as some of the key Democrats also want to break up Big Tech and stop unfair online censorship.
Some socialist/communist Democrats that might be paid off by Google (follow the money/political donations), and enjoy the benefits of this unfair censorship of Conservatives, want to pretend that there is no censorship of Conservatives, which is total bullshit.

USA Supreme Court Justice Thomas singled out the owners of Google and Facebook by name, arguing that the firms are currently unaccountable personal fiefdoms with massive power.
Until recently, Republicans were more reluctant to regulate Big Tech platforms, but there was a dramatic shift in response to Facebook, Google and Twitter censoring The Post’s reporting in October on a laptop formerly belonging to Hunter Biden that appeared to implicate his father in overseas business deals in China and Ukraine.

expert in communications and antitrust law, has praised USA Senator Hagerty’s
bill.
