Perhaps no company is in European regulators’ cross hairs more than Google, whose search engine holds roughly a 90 percent share of the region’s online search market. As part of its five-year antitrust investigation into whether Google used its dominant position to favor its own services over rivals, the European Commission has now asked several companies that had filed complaints against the search giant to make their confidential submissions public, according to several people with direct knowledge of the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

I noticed the version I show below is different and I think better than the current version I see on TV.  I think BMW must have decided to make this I3 commercial more conservative for future use.

This is an excellent video by Emily Chang on the Google Loon Project.

So in the near future the Internet with good bandwidth will be available to the most remote parts of the world.  Perhaps this means it will soon be impossible to be "off the grid" or at least when you decide to go off the grid, you will still be able to watch NetFlix and Amazon Prime, etc.

This is a very interesting video that brings up many questions about privacy and if new laws are needed in order to regulate this entire industry.  Also how can any one country regulate and control this when Internet workers, and huge marketing databases can be located anywhere in the world?

I was reading the most recent articles about if Google will update the Toolbar PageRank meter ever again, and how it looks like Google will not.  This is your chance to tell Google what you think.  Please click here and give Google your feedback and vote to keep PageRank.  I encourage webmasters to try to email Google and ask that Google please continue to update the PageRank meter.

I believe there are benefits to Google for doing so at least once or twice a year. Yes I agree several years ago doing the updates once a month was too much.

However if Google updates PageRank two times a year it will help webmasters stay away from websites Google does not like or has penalized.  I think the main argument is that Google wants webmasters to stay away from "bad websites" e.g. do not link to them and do not ask them for links, etc.
Then Google says the #1 way you can tell what websites to stay away from is effectively disabled by Google.  This just defies common sense to me.
